As a young player myself, I’m always excited to see the next generation of talent coming through. There are so many incredible players under the age of 22 right now, and it’s impossible to predict who will reach the very top. But, based on their current form and potential, here are five players under 22 who I believe have what it takes to become world-class:

At just 19 years old, Pedri is already one of the most exciting young midfielders in the world. His vision, passing range, and ability to dictate the tempo of a game are exceptional. He’s already a key player for Barcelona and Spain, and I have no doubt that he’ll only get better in the years to come.

2. Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund & England)

Another phenomenal midfield talent, Jude Bellingham, plays with a maturity beyond his 19 years. His energy, tenacity, and ability to win the ball back are remarkable, and he’s also a threat going forward. He’s already a leader for both Borussia Dortmund and England, and his potential is limitless.

3. Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich & Germany)

Jamal Musiala is an incredibly gifted attacker who can play anywhere across the front line. He’s blessed with lightning-fast pace, exceptional dribbling skills, and an eye for goal. He’s already making a real impact at Bayern Munich and for Germany, and I’m confident he has a very bright future ahead of him.

4. Gavi (Barcelona & Spain)

Despite being just 18 years old, Gavi plays with an aggression and intensity that belies his age. He’s a tenacious tackler, a tireless runner, and a real handful for any opposition. He’s already established himself as a regular starter for Barcelona and Spain, and I believe he has the potential to become one of the best midfielders in the world.

5. Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid & France)

At just 20 years old, Eduardo Camavinga has already won the Champions League with Real Madrid. He’s a versatile midfielder who can play in a variety of positions, and he’s blessed with incredible athleticism, technique, and game intelligence. He’s already a key player for both Real Madrid and France, and I have no doubt that he’ll continue to go from strength to strength.

These are just a few of the many talented players under 22 who are making a name for themselves in world football. It’s an exciting time for the sport, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these young stars.
