As a Norwegian who grew up speaking a different language, it might come as a surprise to some that I, Erling Haaland, am quite comfortable speaking English. While my native tongue holds a special place in my heart, English has become an essential part of my life as a global football star.

My journey with the English language began at a young age. Growing up in Norway, English is taught in schools from an early age. However, it wasn’t until I began my professional football career, playing for different clubs across Europe, that my English truly flourished.
